Part Time Finance Manager - About The Role

A local SME is looking to recruit a part time Finance Manager to their thriving business. You will take the predominant lead in all things finance with an administrator that provides supports across the transactional elements including credit control. This position offers a hybrid working pattern with the working hours anticipated to be a 20 hours per week. This organisation is happy to flex the hours across the month depending on tasks that need delivering upon across the finance function.

If you enjoy working within an SME environment and everything that it has to offer, then this opportunity should not be missed. Reporting into the Managing Director, you will be providing guidance and support in relation to the growth strategy for this exciting business.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Production of the monthly management accounts including presentation to the Directors
  • Update and manage the cash-flow forecast
  • Complete VAT submissions
  • Send out all invoices and monthly statement to customers
  • Process and calculate monthly accruals, journals and prepayments

The successful Part Time Finance Manager will have/be:

  • A solid background of working within an SME business environment
  • Experience of working in a role that requires end to end knowledge of finance
  • Experience of working with a Cloud based accounting package
  • Knowledge of working with QuickBooks
