Salary: £35,000 FTE - PRO RATA - PART TIME AND TERM TIME ONLY

A leading independent prep school are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable compliance officer. This is a part time and permanent role from September 2024. Roughly 15 hours a week across either two or three days a week and term time only.

The Compliance Officer is responsible for overseeing all elements of ISI regulatory compliance at the School, including education, welfare, safeguarding, suitability of staff, premises and provision of information. This is a part-time role and the Compliance Officer will be expected to liaise widely with relevant members of staff and will report directly to the Bursar.

? To ensure the school remains up-to-date with all appropriate regulations. These include, but are not limited to: ? Independent Schools Standards & Regulations (particularly the new Regulatory Compliance Inspection) ? Keeping Children Safe in Education ? EYFS statutory framework and wider legislation ? Health & Safety ? Data Protection ? RSE

? To communicate key compliance changes to appropriate SMT members, or if necessary all staff

? To pursue a culture of compliance and attend meetings/events as necessary

? To assist the Bursar and Head with the diary management of policy reviews and ensure implementation of the school policies according to the agreed schedule and/or legislative changes
