The Company:
A UK-based independent environmental consultancy is looking for an experienced Junior Acoustic Consultant to join their team, near Harlow. The company specialise in noise reports, damp and timber surveys, and property inspection reports. Established for 20 years, the company have a wide range of clients across England. They provide a range of Noise and Acoustic services aimed at assessing and mitigating noise pollution for various contexts. Some key aspects of their noise work include Acoustic Reports and Noise Surveys, BS4142 Noise Assessments, Noise Modelling and Management Plans.
Role responsibilities include:
- Undertaking various noise impact assessments.
- Collating the data to write factual reports for clients.
- Completing sound and noise surveys.
- Junior Acoustic Consultants may provide Graduate Consultants with guidance.
The ideal candidate will have:
- One year experience as an Acoustic Consultant, is required.
- A membership of the Institute of Acoustics.
- Knowledge of British Standards, BS8233 and BS4142.
- Experience using Acoustic modelling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Cadna).
- A relevant degree in Acoustics or Physics. An Engineering degree with relevant modules will also be considered.
