Bench/Lapping Operator
Salary Range: £28,500 - £29,500 (depending on experience)
Fixed Term Contract - 12 months.
Working Pattern: 40 hours Monday to Thursday - Nights
Job description
To Carry out Bench / Lapping Operations - Manual Deburring, Part Marking, Cleaning, packing of parts within New Production areas in accordance with OEM manuals and work instructions.
- Support flexibility across the New Manufacturing areas, which, from time to time, may reasonably be required to meet the needs of Safran Helicopters UK Limited.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes and working practice and take responsibility for implementing these.
- Ensure good housekeeping standards are consistently maintained.
- Manual Deburring activities supporting the flow of all components across the New Manufacturing section in accordance with OEM manuals and work instructions.
- Cleaning activities supporting the flow of all components across the New Manufacturing section in accordance with OEM manuals and work instructions
- Bag & label activities supporting the flow of all components across the New Manufacturing section in accordance with OEM manuals and work instructions.
- Work in accordance with HSE legislation, the Company Operating Systems, policies and procedures.
- Actively demonstrate the Company Values & Behaviours.
- Bench Operator (preferably Aerospace background)
- Machine Engraving (although on the job training will be given)
- Manufacturing bench processes and practices
