Forge Talent are delighted to be partnered with a global business in Merseyside who are seeking a Project Accountant to join the team as they continue to grow.
This role suits a candidate who has a strong finance background but is looking to move into more systems based role.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Regularly maintain finance-related systems to ensure smooth and accurate functioning.
- Identify and implement system improvements to support finance operations and optimise workflows.
- Support financial audits by maintaining accurate system records and providing required data to auditors.
- Work closely with senior finance professionals in the UK and internationally to understand financial requirements.
- Collaborate with the IT team to integrate finance systems with the broader organisational IT infrastructure.
- Ensure all finance systems meet regulatory requirements and company compliance standards.
Requirements:
- Project experience is advantageous but not essential
- Essential computing proficiency, including advanced Excel skills
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise, plan, and manage workload to meet deadlines
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and skill sets
- Strong communication skills
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary up to £45,000 (Depending on experience)
