You've set out on a career journey in risk and compliance and you may be looking for the opportunity to gain an insight of all elements of the risk management framework...from regulation to third party risk management, and from data privacy to financial promotions.

Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will work with a small, but mighty Risk team to provide analysis and report across the range of risk types, providing insightful management information to facilitate effective oversight and assurance.

You'll be joining a growing, busy, supportive organisation who will support your career and offer a great culture, working remotely for the most part but be willing to attend the office ideally once a week in Bristol OR London.

What you'll need:

  • 3+ years experience in risk and regulatory compliance
  • Knowledge of consumer finance and financial promotions regulations preferable, but we're happy to look at all financial/accounting risk experience
  • An understanding of risk and control; preferably regulatory and data-related risks
  • Able to identify, measure, monitor, manage and report risk across the business
  • Knowledge of consumer finance and financial promotions regulations preferable
  • Dealt with third party risk management, and has an understanding of legal contracts
  • You'll love working in a fast paced, be a proactive individual and have superb attention to detail.

You'll be involved with:

  • Regulatory compliance - provide assurance on regulatory obligations, coordinate regulatory reporting and assist in population of compliance scorecard and the MI for reporting of delivery of good outcomes for members
  • Legal - Initial review of third-party contracts, assist in the implementation of a contract management system, monitoring trademarks and IP
  • Data Subject Access Requests - Work with Member Support Team on responding to DSARs
  • Employee screening - assist with pre-employment checks and periodic
  • Third party risk management - Support Risk Management Framework, development of company policies and inbound and outbound Due Diligence processes
  • Content review - Review marketing materials from a risk and compliance perspective
