General Manager - Build to Rent - Glasgow - 12 month FTC - Immediate Start
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of a new, 95 unit Build to Rent scheme. This is a fantastic opportunity for an immediately available candidate with a background in Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA), Build to Rent, or Co-Living. As the General Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success and smooth running of the development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Build to Rent scheme, ensuring high standards of service and resident satisfaction.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Resident Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with residents, addressing any concerns and enhancing their living experience.
- Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Marketing & Leasing: Implement effective marketing strategies to attract and retain residents, ensuring high occupancy rates.
- Maintenance & Facilities: Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure the property is well-maintained and all facilities are in excellent condition.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure the property complies with all relevant health, safety, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in managing residential properties, preferably in PBSA, Build to Rent, or Co-Living sectors.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting.
- Knowledge of property management software and systems.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions.
- Immediately available to start.
