Senior Procurement Officer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Procurement Officer to join our team based in Stockport hybrid working (2 Days a Week in the office). You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary plus excellent benefits.

What you'll be doing as our Senior Procurement Officer:

As our Senior Procurement Officer, you will assist in all aspects of procurement to efficiently and cost-effectively support organisational operations.

Your responsibilities as our Senior Procurement Officer will include:

  • Onboarding of suppliers including

- carrying out appropriate due diligence checks

- liaising with stakeholders as and when necessary

  • Stakeholder and supplier engagement and management,

- developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and vendors

- reviewing and negotiating commercials and terms & conditions for provision of goods and/or services

  • Performance Management

- assisting with managing the supplier and vendor costs, quality and delivery performance

- evaluating and reporting supplier compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations

  • Managing the software licence and support renewals

- including contract renewals

- liaising with the stakeholder

  • Managing the Hardware Maintenance and support renewals

- including contract renewals,

- liaising with the stakeholder

  • Facilitating requests for goods and services in a timely manner

- managing requests on ServiceNow

- providing support to get approval for goods and service as required

What we're looking for in our Senior Procurement Officer:

  • CIPS Qualified preferable
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's including English or equivalent
  • Negotiation skills to deliver best value outcomes for in relation to costs and contractual terms
  • Commercially focused with good commercial awareness
