ENT Consultant

We are seeking a highly experienced ENT Consultant to join our client's dynamic and market-leading healthcare services team in Swindon. This forward-thinking provider supports both primary and secondary care services, delivering high-quality Dermatology, ENT, and Audiology care to patients referred by GPs and NHS Trusts.

Role: ENT Consultant

**Department:

Community Ear, Nose & Throat

Location: Swindon
Days Available: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 09:00 - 18:00 (or similar)
Rate: £132.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care to adult patients in the community ENT service, including consultations for new patients and follow-up appointments.
  • Perform procedures such as epistaxis treatment, balance assessments, external auditory canal clearance, nasopharyngoscopy, and laryngoscopy.
  • Accurately diagnose and treat a range of ENT conditions while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of the clinical service.
  • Participate in audits and quality assurance initiatives to maintain service excellence.
  • Engage in regular team meetings, contributing to shared decision-making and continuous service improvement.

Candidate Requirements (Medical and Nursing):

  • Qualifications: Must be a fully registered Doctor with the GMC and hold relevant specialist qualifications in Otolaryngology (ENT).
  • Experience: Extensive experience diagnosing and treating ENT conditions, including both non-surgical and surgical interventions, within a UK medical setting.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize with patients and their families. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Compliance: Fully up-to-date with mandatory training, including safeguarding, infection control, and all other essential healthcare certifications.
  • Professionalism: A strong commitment to clinical excellence and professional development, with an ability to adhere to the latest clinical guidelines and best practices.
