Engineering Manager

We are on the lookout for an experienced Engineering Manager to join a dynamic engineering team for our client based in Leighton Buzzard. You will be joining an evolving and growing reputable UK brand, as they seek to scale up and grow in 2025.

In this role you will oversea a talented team of 16 engineers, ensuring they are motivated, skilled, and ready to tackle exciting challenges. You will be managing end-to-end software development projects, setting the bar for quality and performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

this role is focused around the management, development and coaching of the engineering team to create an environment of growth and development. You will be responsible for mentoring team members and driving the performance management within the team.

SALARY -

Up to £75,000

LOCATION -

Leighton Buzzard (Hybrid with 1 Office Day per Week)

JOB TYPE -

Permanent

Essential Skills:

  • 10+years of experience in software engineering
  • 5+ years of proven experience managing software engineering teams.
  • A strong technical background, but no requirement to have been recently hands-on.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft .NET and Microsoft SQL
  • Growth oriented mindset and the drive to inspire and develop talent within your team
  • Prior experience of involvement in recruitment cycle would be advantageous
