Job Title: HR Assistant

Location: Bury

Contract Type: Temporary

Contract Length: 4 months

Working Pattern: Full Time

Salary: £13.69 - £14.91

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the HR team to carry out various HR and Payroll tasks
  • Process transactions, including creating positions in the HR/Payroll system
  • Manage employee transfers under TUPE
  • Produce variation of contract documents
  • Verify payroll accuracy
  • Assist with other processing work and mini projects during quieter periods
  • Follow established processes while using initiative to manage workload effectively
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and deliver high-quality work within deadlines

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Previous experience working in a similar HR environment
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Proactive approach with the ability to use own initiative
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities

Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Knowledge of HR and Payroll systems
  • Familiarity with TUPE regulations and processes
  • Experience in managing restructures
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technologies:

Proficiency in HR/Payroll software
