Position: Biology Lecturer
Level: BTEC and GCSE (Up to Level 3)
Schedule: 3 days per week
Location: Barnet and Southgate College
Are you passionate about biology and eager to inspire the next generation of scientists? We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Biology Lecturer to join our team. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach BTEC and GCSE students, with a strong emphasis on delivering Level 3 content. Experience in T-Level delivery is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and high-quality biology lessons to BTEC and GCSE students.
- Plan, prepare, and assess students' work, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
- Support students in their academic and personal development.
- Contribute to curriculum development and innovation within the department.
Qualifications:
- A relevant degree in Biology or a related field.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Proven experience in teaching Biology at Level 3.
- Strong knowledge of BTEC and GCSE syllabi.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
