An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operations / Office Manager to join one of our clients within the drainage industry!

Our client is looking for an experienced operations professional who is seeking a new challenge and can contribute new ideas to the business! This role would be best suited to a candidate with previous experience within the drainage, engineering or construction industry .

Details of this Operations/ Office Manager position include:

  • Managing the day to day running of the office and a small team of administrators.
  • Liaising with engineers and drivers; booking in jobs, logging jobs on the CRM system, rescheduling works when required and handling any queries.
  • Liaising with clients in a professional manner, handling any queries or complaints.
  • Monitoring the success of current projects, evaluating processes and coming up with new ideas.
  • Updating the inhouse CRM with accurate information regarding current and potential jobs.
  • Handling out of hour calls for emergency jobs and managing accordingly by directing engineers/drivers in the appropriate manner.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are being adhered to by engineers/ drivers.
  • Setting up invoices before sending to the finance department to be actioned accordingly.
  • General email and telephone correspondence.

To bag yourself an interview for this role you will have/be:

  • Previous solid experience within an operations/ office manager position.
  • Experience in the drainage, engineering or construction industry (Highly desirable).
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and able to talk to people of all seniorities.
  • Willing to put in the work out of hours as and when required.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of all MS Software's

  • Adaptable and able to work within a fast-paced environment.
