Our client, a leading SME, is seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant with the potential to take on a broader range of tasks as the role develops.
Your new role
Working in a small and growing finance team and reporting to the Finance Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Payable duties including processing and paying invoices
- Assistance with production of month-end management accounts and management information packs
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Assistance with budgeting and forecasting
- Supporting with various financial projects
- Producing various financial reports
- Supporting with month and year end
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum two years of broad accounting experience
- Ideally working towards a professional accounting qualification
- Intermediate Excel
