Maths Teacher - Harrow
Academics are working with a Secondary School based in the Pinner area of Harrow, North West London who have active requirements for a Maths Teacher to join them full time from January 2025, they are ideally looking for candidates full time but will consider part time (3 days minimum).
They are a comprehensive school who have been judged "Outstanding" across the board, including their Sixth Form. This role would ideally suit a Maths Teacher based in London and within a commutable distance to the Harrow area, who is actively seeking a new challenge, or maybe flexibility within their teaching career.
The successful candidate will:
- Have a proven track record of success in helping students achieve their academic goals, and will have the expertise to make Maths enjoyable and easy to understand.
- Be able to use a variety of teaching methods to ensure that each student learns in the way that suits them best.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment within the classroom, to ensure students of all abilities have a tailored approach to their learning.
This role will require:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Math's Teacher, teaching to secondary school students in the UK.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the UK curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
