We are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Administrator for a junior-level position within our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to start their career in finance and accounting. The successful candidate will assist with basic accounting tasks and administrative duties, providing support to our finance department.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Assist with the maintenance of sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Help with the processing of invoices and payments.
  • Support the reconciliation of accounts.
  • Handle finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A keen interest in starting a career in finance and accounting.
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive approach to learning and taking on new challenges.
  • A-levels or equivalent qualifications; a degree in a relevant field or AAT qualifications would be advantageous but not essential.
