HR Advisor

Reed HR are proud to be recruiting for a HR advisor on behalf of a prestigious organisation based in Cardiff. This is an exciting time to join and provide comprehensive HR support across all UK sites, as part of a busy and hands on HR team. This role is ideal for an HR Assistant looking to progress in their career within a vibrant and forward-thinking organisation.

Hybrid Working

Day to Day of the role:

  • Provide advice and guidance to line managers and department heads on HR policies and procedures.
  • Manage all stages of the recruitment process for various roles, including drafting specifications, job descriptions, adverts, liaising with agencies, conducting interviews, and coordinating the selection process.
  • Proactively manage the HR inboxes and respond to queries.
  • Conduct meetings with employees for inductions, probationary reviews, flexible working requests, and family leave.
  • Assist in firm-wide absence management, including reporting on absence levels and conducting early-stage absence management meetings.
  • Support senior HR team members with grievance or disciplinary procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Recruitment experience with a lead role in the recruitment process for a variety of positions.
  • Understanding of employment legislation and its practical application.
  • Proficiency in IT, ideally including HR systems.
  • CIPD level 5 or equivalent knowledge and experience.
