Our primary is an academy based in Blackpool, FY4 area code. This school has great transportation routes with a bus stop directly outside and an accessible school car park and local parking options allowing a safe and easy commute. The school boasts an inclusive and supportive environment, which also includes a SURF provision attached for SEND students.. This primary requires a SEND TA for Year 3 between November 4th - December 20th with potential to extend into the spring term. The hours are Monday - Friday, 8:30-3:30 term time. This role requires you to work in the capacity of 1:1 and group support with children who have diagnosed SEN/D needs. Ideally you will be a qualified TA or with previous SEN experience. The support you will be providing will be tailored and inline with the pupil's EHCP/ IEP.

Key Responsibilities:
- Punctual and reliable
- Assess children who have long or short-term learning difficulties and work with colleagues to identify individual pupils' special needs
- Use special equipment and facilities, such as audiovisual materials and computers to stimulate interest in learning
- Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
- Respond to questioning
