My client, a small Freight Forwarder based in the West Bromich area, is looking to recruit a European Roadfreight Operator to join its friendly team.
ROLE: Roadfreight Operator
HOURS: Monday to Friday 9 am - 5.30 pm (office based)
SALARY: up to £34k dependent upon experience
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR European Roadfreight Operato
- Experience working in Freight Industry - Road Freight- FTL / PTL / Groupage
- Must be experienced for road import process from start to finish.
- Good geographical knowledge of Europe and UK
- Experience liaising with hauliers, negotiating rates, preparing quotations
Knowledge and experience for the use of the below would be advantageous but not mandatory
- Customs systems: CDS, NCTS, Sequoia, Destin8, CNS and GMR
- Wide range of entries including Home Use, IPR, OPR
- Working with Commodity Codes / IncotermsRaising IDR documents for import shipments.
