Our client is a small engineering company established for over 20 years. They manufacture highly technical bespoke containment equipment that provides safe working areas for the pharmaceutical industry.
Due to growth, they are now looking for an additional Skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator to join their highly skilled team in Micklefield, Leeds.
The Role
As a Skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in our client's manufacturing process. Your expertise in fabricating stainless steel will ensure their products meet the highest standards of quality and precision.
Key responsibilities:
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Fabricating stainless steel from start to finish
- Cutting materials using guillotines
- Forming materials using press brakes
- Performing MIG and TIG welding
- Drilling and finishing/polishing products to a high specification
Working hours: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 4:30pm, Friday 7:30pm - 1:30pm (no lunch)
About you
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in welding and fabricating stainless steel (1 - 5mm) to pharmaceutical standards
- Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding
- The ability to finish products to a high specification (pharmaceutical standard)
