Sheet metal worker required to join a well-established precision engineering company that is based in the Erith area. The successful candidate will come from a sheet metal background and live within a commutable distance.
**Sheet Metal Worker
Position Requirements
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques, including cutting, shaping, bending, and joining.
- Skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools, such as shears, brakes, punches, welding equipment, and measuring tools is advantages.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues or defects in sheet metal products or installations.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills to calculate dimensions, angles, and quantities of materials needed.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Good physical stamina and strength to stand, bend, lift, and carry heavy and bulky sheet metal products and equipment.
- CNC Lunch Press, or press brake experience is very advantageous

- Full time - permanent position
- Monday to Friday - 07:00am to 16:00pm (Friday finish at 12)
- Salary £14 - £15 (DOE)
