AJ Chambers are delighted to be working with a highly sought-after Top 20 Firm in Peterborough, on their search for an Audit Semi-Senior.

We are on the lookout for a talented individual who is AAT qualified or has progressed at least part way through their ACA exams.

About the role:

As a Semi-Senior, your main responsibility will be to work as part of a team to deliver statutory audit and other assurance engagements to our clients. You'll be part of a team providing our uniquely personal and proactive service, maintaining the highest standards in client service. Your duties will include:

  • Working with our extensive and diverse client base, which includes a range of large corporate clients and groups with turnovers of up to £500m.
  • Adding value to all stages of statutory audit engagements, from planning through to completion, and also being involved in the preparation and review of group and single entity financial statements.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
  • Supervising, coaching, and developing new trainees.
  • Benefiting from investment in coaching and development, with direct support from qualified staff and one-to-one support from the Managerial team.

About you:

The successful candidate will be studying ACA or be AAT Qualified.You should have prior experience in an audit or accounts role, with emphasis on audit experience given this area of growth. You should be motivated, organised, commercially minded and have a clear perception of good client service.
