Customer Service / Sales Administrator
- Temporary 13-week contract
- Full time, office based with potential for hybrid working 1 day per week

The role is crucial for providing an outstanding customer experience and efficiently administering bookings to grow income. The ideal candidate will ensure that both current and new clients are served in the most efficient way possible, enhancing reputation and operational success.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Take and manage bookings using the short course booking system for maritime professional courses.
- Administer all aspects of maritime professional short course bookings.
- Deliver outstanding customer service for all sales enquiries.
- Enrol students/delegates effectively in accordance with professional body requirements and procedures.
- Maintain accurate customer data in compliance with legal standards.
- Collaborate with course leaders to ensure course viability and accuracy of course information on the website.
- Liaise with academic heads, course leaders, finance team, and other recruitment teams to maintain an excellent reputation in outward-facing communications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Demonstrable sales experience in a customer-facing office environment.
- High level of administration skills.
- Proficiency in managing complex databases.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Desirable: Knowledge of the international maritime industry and maritime education and training.
- Professional experience in the maritime industry is a plus.
