Premier Engineering are recruiting for a Toolmaker to join a leading manufacturing company based in Hayes, West London, specializing in high-quality tool and die making. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, manufacture, and maintain precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate a variety of machine tools including lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to improve and develop tooling solutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Toolmaker in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of tool design, fabrication methods, and machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in the use of manual and CNC machinery.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field are preferred.
