An exciting opportunity has arisen for an M&A Analyst in the Financial Services industry, specifically within the M&A department. The role will focus on being part of a team to facilitate successful mergers and acquisitions.

The company is a well-established entity in the Financial Services sector. With over 30 offices, the organisation operates on a wider scale, offering a range of financial advisory to a diverse clientele. They are based between Preston and Manchester but have offices in numerous locations across the UK. This role is mostly remote.
Description
- Support the execution of financial due diligence engagements
- Report writing
- Interpretation and analysis of information provided
- Stakeholder management
- Data room management
- Support delivery of other key elements of the acquisitions process including the preparation of valuations, offer letters and heads of terms
- Support delivery of other ad-hoc projects, playing a supporting role to senior members within the team.
Profile
A successful M&A Analyst should have:
- ACA/ACCA qualified
- Previous Financial Services work would be advantageous
- Capable with Microsoft Excel, capable of the creation and maintenance of often complex spreadsheets and the analysis of data
- A reliable person who has the ability to manage and prioritise workloads and co-ordinate a number of simultaneous projects and communication streams
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities are essential
- Outstanding communication skills at all levels
- Ability to produce concise business correspondence, proof read for grammar, spelling and punctuation with a high degree of accuracy
- Analytical and proactive problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and able to work remotely with colleagues often in virtual environments i.e. Microsoft Teams.
- Flexibility / adaptability to cope with change
- Confident with other IT and office software packages including Teams, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
