Commercial Director – Chesterfield – £80,000 - £100,000
Chase & Holland are excited to be partnering with a highly successful and growing engineering business based in the Chesterfield area who are looking to recruit a Commercial Director. This is a crucial role for the organisation to build on the outstanding relationships with long standing clients to promote and expand the company's commercial activity that will generate revenues and lead to sustainable growth.
The business is looking to recruit a hands-on and experienced Commercial Director to take control of the clients and surrounding support teams to drive business performance and growth. The successful candidate will currently be at Commercial Director, Manager or Head of Commercial level and be ready to progress. As the Commercial Director you will have excellent stakeholder management experience with proven experience driving business growth.

Responsibilities:
- Designing and implementing commercial strategy to meet overall business objectives
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities
- Managing market analysis and research on competitor to drive the company's overall strategic plan
- Leading on contract with clients ensuring commercial viability acting as the main point of contact
- Managing revenue strategies to increase revenue streams for existing and new clients
- Forecasting, budgeting and cost management of commercial activities
- Designing and developing effective measures to optimize revenue streams
- Building and maintaining robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Leading and mentoring the commercial team
- Identifying and reducing commercial risks
Requirements and skills
- Proven experience as commercial director or other relevant role
- Proven track record of managing large scale contracts ideally with framework experience
- Strong stakeholder management experience and relationship management experience
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- P&L Management working closely with the Finance Director
- Experience leading a diverse team
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic and analytical mindset
