NEW OPPORTUNITY: Mechanical Site Engineer
Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: £45,000
I am currently working with one of Europe's quickest growing renewable energy companies who both develop and construct large scale photovoltaic plants. They currently have 2.4GW in operation across the globe.
Due to the impressive speed at which they are rolling out multi-megawatt projects, they are seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to take on site responsibility for their latest solar plant in the UK. This key role will lead and support mechanical engineering activities on construction sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership on mechanical engineering matters.
- Collaborate with HQ to review and optimize mechanical drawings.
- Conduct site surveys and roll out thorough quality checks.
- Oversee subcontractors, ensuring compliance with design, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide expert guidance.
Skills:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience working on a utility scale solar project.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD.
