We require a Permanent Assistant Chef to join our clients team in Oxford.
As the Assistant Chef, you will play a crucial role in supporting the culinary team and maintaining impeccable cleanliness in the kitchen, staff canteen, and associated areas. Your attention to detail and commitment to hygiene will help deliver excellent service to all staff and visitors.
Salary: £25,000
Location: Oxford
Hours: 8am - 4pm - any 5 days over 7 (with some evening shifts required)
Start date: ASAP
About the role:
As the Assistant Chef, your responsibilities will include:
- You'll be cooking and preparing food ready for breakfast, lunch and some dinner service's
- Assist the head chef with deliveries, stock control
- Responsible for all catering presentation to include, tables, servery, etc
- Responsible for daily cleaning of the kitchen
- Responsible for all catering waste management
- Assist the chef with scheduled deep cleaning of Kitchen
- Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence
About you as the Assistant Chef:
- Level Food 2 in Food Hygiene
- Have experience working within a kitchen preparing meals and cooking
- Loyal & committed to deliver excellent food standards
