Purchasing Project Executive
Salary: £30k - £35k + bonus and great benefit company benefits
Location: Uckfield
Hours: Mon - Fri 9am-5pm

Do you want to work for a reputable and well-established organisation within the supply chain and purchasing department that offers a friendly and supportive working environment? if so, I have a new role within my clients purchasing and supply chain department based in their offices in Uckfield.
Ideally you will be a graduate and have some proven knowledge within purchasing and manufacturing business and ideally have some experience within project management. This is a progressive role where initially for the first 12-18 months you will be tasked with looking at the purchasing process with a view to making amendments and looking at continuous improvement strategies.
This role will be working closely with the current purchasing manager and purchasing specialist as well as the warehouse and quality assurance teams to ensure all proposed changes work for all parties.
The right candidate will have the following skills and experience to apply:
- Educated to graduate level or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of working within purchasing and within a manufacturing organisation.
- Analytical and a natural problem solver.
- Confident and able to work with work with long standing employees to manage change and improvements to the business.
- Project management.
- Great IT skills inclusive of Excel (able to manipulate data) and using in-house databases.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Personable, adaptable, and able to manage their own workload and meet strict deadlines.
