Financial Accountant role reports to the Head of UK Finance, the role will manage a small team and work alongside both UK and International colleagues and stakeholders and work closely with the International Finance Managers to coordinate the global audit

Description
- The role is principally but not uniquely focused on the financial accounting aspects of the organisation which will include:
- Responsible for maintaining a robust financial control environment within the UK, UK taxation and for banking, investments, and foreign currency management.
- Focused on the delivery of timely and accurate financial accounting activities of the UK, group reporting and audit. Includes three UK companies.
- Principal advisor on accounting standards, taxation and financial control to colleagues in finance and senior management.
- Responsible for investigating and managing allegations or suspicions of terrorist financing.
- Management of a small finance team
Profile
A successful Financial Accountant will be -
- Qualified Accountant
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Charity / NFP experience
- Charity SORP
- Man management experience
- Excellent numerical skills.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Experience of using Business Central
- Good communication and presentation skills.
Job Offer
- £300 - £400 per day.
- 6 month role
- Hybrid role - 1 day a week in the office
