Position Overview:
We are looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of History & Psychology to join our team starting in January. The ideal candidate will be able to engage students across both subjects, encouraging curiosity and critical thinking, while delivering high-quality lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in both History and Psychology to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic growth.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special educational needs.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and best practices in teaching.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the broader school community.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge in both History and Psychology.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a love for learning in both subjects.
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of teaching and learning.
