An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a vibrant business in the Nelson area on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract
As the Credit Controller, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Finance, Operations and Sales Teams on a day to day basis, providing a critical function

About the role
Based in Nelson, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a aged debt ledger for wide range of B2B customers
- Chasing customers for payment via various communication methods, primarily phone and email.
- Taking, allocating and reconciling payments
- Performing credit checks for customer accounts
- Maintain and develop excellent relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
About you
The ideal candidate for this position must have:
- At least two years' experience within a credit control role, or have relevant experience.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail when dealing with payments and allocating cash.
- Proactive self-starter who is motivated to get the job done.

What's on offer
- Salary: £27,000 - £30,000
- Benefits: 33 days holiday inc of bank holidays, discretionary annual company bonus, team building days, Christmas closure

- Hours: 39 hours per week with an early finish on a Friday!
