Requirements:

  • At least a 2:2 bachelor's degree in psychology, or a related field.
  • Genuine care for the education and wellbeing of SEN pupils.
  • Dedication to providing high-quality support to pupils.
  • Commitment to following strict safeguarding procedures.
  • Previous experience of working with children, or in a school setting, is beneficial but not mandatory.

The Role

As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will assist teaching staff across the syllabus to improve the understanding of pupils with additional learning needs. You will provide SEN pupils with 1-2-1 and small group interventions to accommodate the extra support needs of pupils with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia. You will work in close collaboration with teaching staff and parents to create a positive learning environment and ensure that all students are provided with the best possible start to their education journey.
