The Role
Reporting to the Head of Engineering, the Senior Design Engineer will be a key member of the up-front solutions design team and will be responsible for developing, designing, and implementing advanced robotic systems for industry leading automation projects.
This position involves overseeing the full design process, from conceptualisation to prototyping, testing, and final integration, while ensuring the systems meet performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness standards.
The Person
With a proven background in Process Design, Automation & Robotic solutions, the Senior Design Engineer will require strong problem-solving skills, up-to-date knowledge of automation technologies, and a strategic mindset to anticipate industry trends and contribute to the continuous improvement of robotic systems.
As a Senior Design Engineer you must also stay abreast of emerging innovations machine vision, and autonomous systems to drive next-generation automation solutions, ideally with a sound understanding and experience of the Automotive Manufacturing Engineering sector.
