Warner Recruitment are delighted to be working with a local well established and growing business in Corby Northamptonshire, to recruit for an experience Qualified Financial Controller.
As part of this role you will identify areas for improvement, increase efficiency of internal processes and developing internal financial controls. Communicating accounts across the business to non-finance senior management. You will think critically and commercially, have excellent initiative and strong communication skills.
Financial Controller Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day to day running of the finance function
- Reporting directly to the Finance Director in Europe
- Taking responsibility for month end reporting
- Ensure Balance Sheet reconciliations are updated and correct
- Maintain and develop monthly reporting tools
- Conduct regular review meetings with the Commercial and Operational departments
- Support annual budget and forecasting processes
- Ensure processes and controls are in place in the finance function
- Managing the stock control processes
- Analysing costs and making suggestions based on your findings
- Review the functionality of the system to drive improvements in reports
- Finance lead on key business projects
- Cash reporting
- Support the Finance Director as and when required
Requirements
- ACCA/ ACA/ CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)
- Ideally have experience as a Financial Controller
- Experience of working in a Manufacturing business
- Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills
