About the role

You will report into the Head of Digital Analytics in the Boots Digital team. Boots is aiming to create the most compelling omnichannel beauty and health experience in the UK. You will support this by managing the configuration and adoption of new Digital Experience Analytics tools which Boots are trialling, The aim is to roll one of these services out to 300-strong Digital department. You will identify the key teams and champions who will be most eager to get value from the service to support you in adopting the service across the department.

Outside of that project, your focus will remain in providing analytical insight on the customer experience and conversion funnel, looking for ways to drive value from our data.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the rollout and adoption of new DX analytics tooling
  • Use digital analytics and other data sources to provide insight to teams who can use it to drive better experiences for customers and commercial growth
  • Build automated solutions for insight that go beyond descriptive analytics, providing diagnostic and predictive insight
  • Help to build business cases from data for valuable changes and measure their contribution to overall digital performance

What you'll need to have

  • A record of providing valuable insight for digital teams such as product, UX, trading, merchandising, design, which proved to drive positive change and growth.
  • A record of driving adoption and change within teams, embedding new analytical capabilities and ways of working to get value out of an investment.
  • Experience with Digital Experience Analytics tools
  • Experience with Digital Analytics, such as GA4 or Adobe Analytics, working with the data across different reporting surfaces: UI, raw data analysis with SQL, Python, R.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in STEM field translating to proven skills in statistical analysis, data manipulation.
