Project Supervisor (control systems)

Summary
My high-profile Utilities client is looking for a Project supervisor (control systems) to join their team Based at their Alrewas offices (3/4 days a week on site) on an initial 6-month contract with chance of extensions.
Job Purpose
To ensure that all projects/RIIO output measures are delivered in accordance with the Technical and Contractual requirements whilst promoting and monitoring safety, reliability and efficiency on site.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide technical site assurance on a portfolio of projects in the delivery of RIIO outputs through Technical Inspections and Audits
- Promote Safety, Health and Environmental standards on site through audits/inspections and investigations.
- Input into the development of tenders and evaluation of tender submissions including procurement events and NEC contracts.
- Fulfil the NEC4 contract Project Supervisor requirements, ensuring that the works are carried out in line with the quality defined by the contractual Works Information.
- Provide a regular presence on site adopting sensible monitoring principles.
- Ensure all third parties undertaking construction activities on the company's behalf including perimetry are in accordance with SC091
- Provide contract management and feedback to drive performance and promote consistent high quality projects through the maintenance of site records in order to support contractor KPI's.
- Provide feedback to Project Manager to drive performance and promote consistent high-quality work.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
- Demonstrate technical knowledge and site-based experience of project planning/delivery on high pressure gas transmission assets, i.e., terminals, compressor stations, pipelines and above-ground installations.
- Detailed understanding of appropriate industry legislative requirements
- Application of Company policy, procedure, specifications, and guidance relating to appropriate technical disciplines and processes.
- Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, Distributed Control Systems, instrumentation and power system works.
- Demonstrate leadership, influencing, customer orientation and communication skills, providing the ability to support and communicate effectively with staff and contractors at all levels.
- Demonstrate good electrical, control and instrumentation knowledge and civil construction experience.
- Valid current UK Driving Licence
