Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting our client a, well established, top 40 firm with conveniently located offices on the outskirts of the city of Cambridge that are eager to appoint an audit professional at either a semi-senior senior level.
Role Responsibilities
- You will be supporting on a varied portfolio of clients across multiple sectors and performing the following duties:
- Drafting year-end statutory accounts in accordance with FRS102-1A and FRS105 utilising CCH software
- Computations for corporation tax CT600 returns and submission to the HMRC
- Supporting Audit Partners with audit related activities from the initial planning phase through to testing and completion
- Mentoring and reviewing the work of more junior members of staff
Personal Requirements
- ACCA/ ACA part-qualified or newly qualified with at least 3 years experience as a Semi-Senior or Senior Accountant working for a UK based accountancy practice.
- General practice experience to include accounts preparation, tax and audit
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and liaise with the HMRC on their behalf
- Experience of supervising junior members of staff
- Proficient in the use of various accounting software to include CCH, XERO, Sage50 and Quickbooks
