Maintenance Engineer| Ripley| Salary - £47,000
Cherry Professional are currently working with a market leading Engineering company. They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their close knit and thriving team.
Working hours: 06.00-14.15, 14.00-22.15, 22.00 - 06.15.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing faults with machinery
- Servicing and emergency repairs
- Carry out asset care plans and PM schedules across a range of machinery.
- Operating within a CMMS system
- Plant, machinery, and services breakdowns, identifying root cause, and implementing the required mechanical and electrical asset care.
- Ensure all maintenance stock items are available within reason, monitor stock levels and manage orders
- Follow maintenance schedules and carry out routine servicing of machinery
- Ensure equipment runs efficiently and down times are minimised so that the plant runs to production plan and reliability is increased
Ideal Candidate:
- Time served (apprenticeship) mechanical biased maintenance engineer.
- Practical experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of working within a process-oriented environment
- Fault finding and root cause analysis experience.
- A pro-active approach and mindset to contribute within a continuous improvement culture.
- Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with all colleagues at all levels.
- Be able to work flexibly from time to time, as required to suit the business needs.
- Experience of using IT packages such as Microsoft and CMMS (computerised maintenance management system)
