Tallgrass Recruitment is looking for an experienced and motivated Second Charge Loan Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in guiding customers through their financial journey, providing tailored advice, and ensuring a high standard of customer service.
**Key Responsibilities:
- Initial Security Checks: Conduct initial security checks (DPA) on customers where applicable.
- Policy Compliance: Maintain knowledge and understanding of company policies and procedures, including Financial Crime and Whistleblowing.
- Customer Assessment: Review detailed fact finds from customers regarding their financial situation to assess how best we can assist them.
- Credit Checks: Seek permission to carry out credit searches and inform clients of DPA through system scripts.
- Data Management: Input and log all customer information onto the bespoke sourcing system.
- Lender Placement: Identify and place customers with the most suitable lender, starting with the product closest to their needs.
- KPI & Target Achievement: Work to set KPIs and targets in line with Consumer Duty related to productivity and effectiveness.
- Training Participation: Be receptive to and actively participate in company-provided training.
- Compliance Adherence: Adhere to all compliance and Training & Competency requirements within the business.
- Professional Conduct: Conduct calls in a professional manner following Consumer Duty and company guidelines.
- Documentation Management: Ensure the correct advice is offered and manage paperwork as required.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent standards of customer service at all times.
- Legislation Compliance: Maintain competent working standards in line with DPA, FCA, AML, and other relevant legislation.
- Team Support: Carry out any reasonable requests from the leadership team.
**Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience: Previous experience in an advisory role within second charge loans is essential.
- Track Record: Proven track record in a target-driven role with a stable career history.
- Skills: Tenacious, self-motivated, and capable of working well within a team.
- Technical Proficiency: Competent in using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and legislation, including DPA, AML, and FCA.
- Qualifications: Successful completion of CeMap modules 1, 2, and 3.
**Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
**Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: To be discussed during the interview, based on experience.
- Bonus Structure: Discretionary bonus structure, agreed upon monthly and based on the achievement of targets.
- Team Bonus: Discretionary team bonus.
