This is an exciting and unique role within our EU Global Sourcing function. You will help manage existing supplier partner relationships, and be the commercial lead in defining and implementing future sourcing strategy.

About the role

This is an important role within Global Sourcing, which will help support the management and governance of our group manufacturing and supply agreement with Fareva. You will also play an essential role in strategic sourcing activities, providing a commercial view to inform future sourcing strategies, and provide a framework to develop future partner supplier relationships.This role is based in Nottingham, and reports in to the Director of Supplier Development, within the EU Global Sourcing function.Key responsibilities of the role are:· Manage the governance of our supplier partner relationships· Conduct commercial reviews to inform future sourcing strategy· Develop a commercial framework to drive benefits from our partner supplier relationships

What you'll need to have

  • Proficient in commercial activities, including detailed analysis of cost submissions and comparisons.· An excellent communicator, verbally and written. A key requirement of the role is the ability to provide detailed, accurate and clear content to support strategic discussions· Possess the necessary gravitas to be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders· Be seen as a visible trusted leader and role model within the wider business, and with our partner suppliers· Proactive self starter who possesses a curiosity to learn and challenge current normality, and is comfortable delivering to tight deadlines

It would be great if you also have

  • Knowledge of the No7BC and BUK products,· Commercial acumen· An understanding of sourcing processes, and suppliers· Experience creating and delivering large strategic activities, including ownership of commercials/costs· A clear, calm and confident communication style
