Learning & Development Manager Sheffield – With travel to other sites Salary up to £50,000 + Car Allowance

Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be partnering with one of our established clients to appoint a Learning & Development Manager to join their Organisational Development team based in Sheffield.

The role offers hybrid working (3 days on site/2 days wfh) and will require some travel to different sites across the North of the UK which gives you the ability to really see the value added across the business.

As Learning & Development Manager, you will collaborate with line managers and the HR team to develop and deliver innovative and enjoyable training programmes, whilst continuously looking for opportunities to initiate skills development and progression across the wider business.

As Learning & Development Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support line management with individual learning plans for colleagues ensuring engagement and participation
  • Work with key areas of the business to implement new talent mapping and succession planning to ensure retention of talent
  • Design, create and facilitate innovative training sessions, as well as working with external providers to make sure content is suitable and applicable for the training needs

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Solid experience within Learning & Development with knowledge of a variety of different learning techniques and the importance of coaching and training gained within a HR setting
  • The ability to develop and create training programmes, including workshops, 121's, e-learning and classroom sessions
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking and time management skills
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to grow within the role
