Job Title: English Teacher
Location: South Shields, Tyne & Wear
Start Date: ASAP/September 2024
Salary: £130 - £170 per day
GSL Education are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a secondary school in South Shields. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students and foster a love for English literature and language.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging and dynamic English lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Develop and implement a diverse curriculum that encourages a love for reading and writing.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to support their academic development.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching English at secondary level.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
