An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our eFulfilment sector team. This role is crucial in driving customer profitability insights and supporting effective commercial decisions to foster growth and profitability. The position is based on-site with potential for hybrid working arrangements.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Collate, assess, and validate financial data for insightful analysis of customer performance and profitability.
  • Work closely with the Finance Manager to create reports and Management Information that drive improved business performance.
  • Collaborate with non-financial managers to ensure accurate cost capture and allocation, understanding key cost drivers, budget, and flex mechanisms.
  • Report and monitor key performance indicators and non-financials to support service delivery and contractual commitments.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reporting, interpreting operations on a weekly and periodic basis.
  • Assist with onboarding new customer commercials and support the Finance Manager with annual budgets and customer forecasts.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and undertake nominal ledger tasks, including processing journals and period end reconciliations.
  • Prepare balance sheets with robust reconciliations and get involved in site projects from a finance perspective.
  • Lead weekly and monthly customer reviews as required and perform payroll reconciliations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Currently studying towards AAT/ CIMA/ ACCA qualifications.
  • Ability to build relationships at all levels and be proactive and inquisitive.
  • A keen eye for detail and financial controls.
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Flexibility and a positive response to internal and external customer requests.
  • Excellent PC skills with the ability to harness IT and systems to benefit operations.
  • A ‘can do' attitude, demonstrating drive, energy, and commitment.
