Our fantastic client are looking for an amazing Events Co-ordinator to join their friendly Events team. You will be working for a wonderful not for profit organisation within the education sector in Buckinghamshire. This is hybrid role working four days a week from home and one day in the office but flexibility is required. The salary for this Events Co-ordinator role is up to £30,500 with excellent benefits plus a discretionary 10% bonus and a 35 hour working week.
Events Co-ordinator role responsibilities:
- This role will be reporting to the Senior Events Manager and working with internal teams and a range of external suppliers and stakeholders to organise, coordinate and deliver high quality conferences and
events, both face to face and virtual, from start to finish.
- Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, be proactive and an excellent communicator while being an advocate for the company.
- Knowledge of conference structures and different conference session formats
- Understanding of how to manage a budget
- To plan, coordinate and deliver a number of event projects simultaneously
- Work with the marketing/digital teams to produce supporting materials for the conferences as needed, such as delegate brochure, branding assets, website content
- Work closely with sponsorship manager and with confirmed sponsors to ensure event sponsor(s) requirements are delivered.
- Produce all event material to a consistently high quality in copy, tone, design and print.
- Provide support to events team colleagues at busy periods
Skills required for the Events Co-ordinator:
- Able to plan, coordinate and deliver a number of event projects simultaneously
- Ability to build effective business relationships with colleagues, external suppliers and volunteers
- Effective PC skills
- Strong ability to produce clear written documentation
- Excellent communication skills
- Well-developed teamwork skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Minimum of one year's experience of event management
- Experience of coordinating virtual events
- Experience with organising conferences up to 150 people from start to finish
