Original Talent Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our multi modal client based in Essex in their search for an Import Coordinator.
This role will be to work in their busy Sea Freight department looking after the FCL movements, you do not necessarily need to have experience working within Sea Freight but experience of the Logistics industry is ideal
Duties include:
- Liaise with customs department, collating documents ensuring they are completed before clearance
- Liaise with transport companies to organise transport of goods
- Keep customers up to date on their deliveries and real time
- Support the accounts team with invoicing, purchase orders and payments
- Process Sea imports from China, US and UK
- Deal with any issues as they arise
- Book shipments
Ideally you will have:
- Experience in a Freight, Logistics or Distribution role
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Experience with CNS and Destin8 (not essential)
- Be confident with communicating on the phone
