Finance Assistant

Orka are working with a fast growing company based in Rickmansworth, who are looking for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn Finance Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their career in finance within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all Debtors are chased and pay in line with agreed schedule.
  • Carry out a monthly duplication check.
  • Review of Customer credit Limits.
  • Produce projects Invoicing for Multiple entities.
  • Produce Service Invoicing for Multiple entities.
  • Load invoices to portals for Multiple entities.
  • Input Creditor Invoices on to sage.
  • Deal with Creditor enquiries.
  • Produce a Subcontractor payment list for approval.
  • Prepare a monthly payment schedule for payment approval and make Payments.
  • Ensure regular Direct debits are checked.
  • Rent, rates, insurances are accounted for.
  • Carry out a monthly duplicate check.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience within both Accounts Payable and Receivable.
  • Understand Business Accounts knowledge of Sage Line 50 preferred not essential.
  • Ability to work on your own without supervision and as part of small team.
  • Excellent numeracy skills & accuracy of input.
  • Ability to spot financial discrepancies.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • The ability to work with initiative and confidence.
