Hours per week: Variable Shift Rota - 07:00 - 19:00, 19:00 - 07:00 - 42 hours per week

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join our passionate and driven Security team based at our client's site in Middlesborough

You will undertake duties including greeting of visitors and staff. Issuing visitor and staff passes, Front of House/Reception duties and carrying out searches.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recording of vehicles to site – registration number and time of arrival/departure, Using weigh bridge and booking in/out Heavy Good Vehicles
  • Monitor site CCTV and be fully conversant with the CCTV monitoring and recording system on-site and follow up on any alarms that may occur.
  • Check emails and respond as required.
  • Site door check and perimeter when production not running.
  • Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client's premises in accordance with the assignment Instructions.
  • To show a professional security presence throughout the estate.
  • Greet visitors with excellent customer service while following security procedures.
  • Maintain an accurate record of the daily occurrence book, ensuring that all events are logged correctly.
  • To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company's Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety Management plans.

About You:

  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
  • Have a good understanding of the Assignment Instructions.
  • SIA licensed essential.
  • Computer literate.
  • Able to interact at all levels from visitors to senior management.
  • First Aid training is an advantage.
