Aston Education is working with an Ofsted Good 11-18 secondary school in Lewisham, Southeast London (inner London), looking for a permanent Head of Business and Economics.
As Head of Business and Economics, you would take on the leadership of a large and multi-layered department. You would be expected to lead your team to establish creative, responsive, and effective approaches to learning and teaching. You will be dedicated to utilising the ideas and skills of those in your team so that the Business and Economics department progresses, and its students thrive.
You have excellent knowledge of Business and Economics GCSE Edexcel, A level Edexcel, OCR Enterprise and Marketing level 2 and BTEC National Extended Diploma in Business Pearson. You'll act as a lead internal verifier for BTEC.
We are looking for an exceptional Business and Economics practitioner with QTS/QTLS who can use their experience, extensive subject knowledge, and vision to get the best from their team and deliver high quality outcomes for our students.
