Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE

Hours: Office hours, Mon - Fri

Our client is seeking a dedicated and meticulous Human Resources Systems Analyst to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen interest in data, who can help inform decision making through producing insightful reports. The successful candidate will be a key player in the production and delivery of people metrics and data reporting, including cyclical reports, ad hoc requests, and supporting continuous improvement projects across the HR function. This position comes with a competitive salary range of £30K - £35K.

What you'll do:

As a Human Resources Systems Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our client's people strategy. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive reporting and analytics for the People function, working closely with both HR and IT teams to enhance data reporting capabilities. Your expertise in interpreting large volumes of data will enable you to identify trends and make recommendations that drive efficiency within the HR service offering. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation.

  • Provide reporting and analytics for the People function using data from the HR systems on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis, maintaining high standards of accuracy at all times
  • Work in partnership with HR and IT teams to identify HR system improvements which will create better data reporting
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to interpret and analyse data trends, offering expert opinion and guidance
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver the monthly reporting schedule, allocating and prioritising other work to accommodate deadlines
  • Produce and interpret large volumes of data with the ability to identify trends and variances, making recommendations that drive efficiency
  • Understand and adhere to internal processes whilst striving for continuous improvement
  • Process organisational structure changes in the selected HR system
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant policies and procedures to undertake departmental work

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Human Resources Systems Analyst role will bring a wealth of experience in a similar role, ideally within HR. You will have advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and a strong understanding of HR systems such as iTrent, Midland HR system, and SAP Success Factors. Your ability to maintain high levels of accuracy while working to tight deadlines will be crucial in this role. Furthermore, your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation.

  • Minimum of two years' experience working in a similar role, ideally within HR
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft office applications particularly Microsoft Excel with a focus on complex formulae, data analysis and VBA
  • Knowledge of iTrent / Midland HR system and SAP Success Factors System is highly desirable
  • Experience and understanding of other HR systems; including Recruitment, Benefits, Performance Management and Learning & Development is desirable
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy whilst working to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence in managing relationships at all levels
